Bro. Tony Lawson and his family joined the Highland Park family in September 2019. We are excited to have Bro. Tony, his wife Sara, and their children Asher, Felicity, and Sophie as part of our church family.
He studied for his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma Baptist University, and has completed both his masters and doctoral degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been in ministry since 2009, & serving in Pastoral ministry since 2013.
Bro. Tony loves spending time with his family, fishing, sports, and watching movies. Sara’s passion is being a full-time mom and homemaker, and she enjoys reading, being artistically creative, and, though they are no pros, Sara and Tony both really enjoy going bowling.
Mrs. Dana has a heart for children and her calling is teaching and ministering to children. She is the mother of 3 and a 6th grade teacher at a PE Wallace Middle School in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Dana has been a member of Highland Park Baptist Church for over 20 years.
She and our Children’s Department Volunteers are ready to meet you and share the love of God with your child(ren).
Brian has served as Youth Minister since 2005, and later became Music Minister in 2015. He is married to his wonderful wife Kristane and they have 2 boys Braden and Bryson. Brian enjoys fishing, going to the gym. As an avid sports fan, he gets to combine his passion for impacting students lives by serving as Strength and Conditioning Coach and Assistant Basketball and Track Coach at Pittsburg High School.
